FISHING WATERS

The bay is a fault lake with an area of 5000 hectares. It is very deep in places, reaching a maximum depth of 29 meters. The lake is nutrient-poor by nature, and the water quality is excellent. The bay has many islands that are suitable for shore landings. However, some are protected because the Osprey breeds here. You may also see loons, herons, bitterns, cranes, and several other bird species during the fishing trip.

FISH SPECIES

Pike, perch, and zander are our most common sport fish species. The bay is known for its large pikes and perches. In recent years, the planted zander has also grown significantly and become a popular catch. For those interested in angling, there is an abundance of bream and carp. Other fish species in the lake include roach, asp, barbel, grayling, ide, chub, and burbot. We have also introduced lake trout.

FISHING SEASON

Fishing can be conducted all year round. The perch and pike fishing is best during the summer. Angling is best during the summer months. The farm has its own fishing waters for crayfish, which are fished during the month of August.

BOATS AND FISHING GEAR

Our boats can be rented with or without a motor, electric or gasoline engine. The rental includes life jackets and a depth map. We provide fuel. A fish finder is available for rent.

FISHING METODS

Spinning and trolling fishing are the most common methods for pike, zander, and perch. Fishing is best done from a boat. Bottom fishing is most suitable for bream, tench, and other whitefish species. When the ice forms in winter, we have great ice fishing for perch and ice fishing for pike.

FISHING RULES
