About Us
Welcome to Braxmaviken Farm, a stone's throw from the culturally and historically significant industrial town of Forsvik in the municipality of Karlsborg in Västra Götland. The farm is located by the beautiful lake Vikens' southernmost tip, with approximately 6 km of waterfront. The Göta Canal route that connects to the property's northern boundary is considered one of the most beautiful stretches through a landscape of magnificent nature with small islands and bays. We accommodate both Swedish and international guests in our cabins; weekly with self-catering or a minimum of three days. English, German, and French are spoken and written. In addition to fishing experiences, we also arrange crayfishing upon request.

Our cabins
Two different accommodation options are offered. All with their own dock and close to the lake. We have high-quality beds and other modern standards. Outdoor patio with grill, boat, life jackets. Wireless internet is available in all accommodations. Washing machine in the stable building with drying facilities by the cabins. The farm has its own beach for guests. Charging options for electric cars.
"Wonderful location, the terrace built into the lake, very quiet, with its own boat/dock and a lake rich in fish (especially perch and pike, we haven't caught any zander, but there are probably quite a few of those too). We were there for three weeks and enjoyed it very much! Clear recommendation!"
"Well-kept grounds. From the property you have a beautiful view of Viken. Next to the house is a large wooden barn where our children could play table tennis during the sometimes rainy days. We also used the canoe and the rowing boat. Large swimming area, beautiful lake with small rocky islands. The house itself is very cozy and has everything you need.."
